$P$-units in ray class fields of real quadratic number fields

Logiciel

 

This program computes conjectural p-units in ray class fields of real quadratic fields as described in the paper:

"Computations of p-units in ray class fields of real quadratic number fields" pdf

The program was written in Magma: program_final2.txt

The author would like in the future to "Sageify" this code since the software.

Sage is open source contrary to its counterpart Magma which is not.

 

First step: In an empty folder copy the file "prog_final2.txt"

Second step: Read carefully the file "walkthrough.txt" in order to have some explanations: walkthrough.txt

Here is a Log file that gives an example: log_file.txt
